Product Description
Azoxystrobin 23% SC is a broad-spectrum systemic fungicide used to control various fungal diseases in crops.It is effective against diseases like downy mildew, powdery mildew, anthracnose, early and late blight, and fruit rot, affecting crops such as grapes, chilli, mango, tomato, potato, and cucumber.
Targeted Diseases and Crops:
- Grapes:Downy and powdery mildew.
- Chilli:Fruit rot and powdery mildew.
- Mango:Anthracnose and powdery mildew.
- Tomato:Early and late blight.
- Potato:Late blight.
- Cucumber:Powdery mildew and downy mildew.
Mode of Action:
Azoxystrobin 23% SC works by disrupting the fungal respiratory system, depriving the fungus of the energy needed for growth and effectively killing it.It is a strobilurin fungicide with protectant, curative, eradicant, and antisporulant actions.
Dosage and Application:
- The recommended dosage is typically 1 ml per liter of water, or 15 ml per 15-liter pump.
- For large-scale application, 200 ml per acre spray (200 liters of water) is recommended.
- It can be applied using knapsack or power sprayers with fine droplets for uniform coverage.
- For best results, apply in the early morning or late evening.
- Reapplication may be needed every 10-15 days if disease pressure persists.
